Recent improvements to the Clinician Companion experience:
What Is New
- You can now use dedicated pages for patient sign up, patient login, clinician login, provider lookup, medications, statements, family history, document uploads, and medical history.
- The Imaging & DICOM Viewer now has real study, series, and instance scaffolding behind it so imaging can be introduced as a first-class part of the portal.
- A Vitals Tracker page is now in place as a coming-soon module so longitudinal vitals can become a first-class part of the patient and provider workflow.
- The portal now has a more polished teal glass design to better match the main website experience.
- Patients can add their own statements, review core chart details, and upload documents through the portal.
- Clinicians can sign in and use MRN and date of birth lookup to move between patient records they are authorized to access.
- The portal keeps using role-based permissions to protect patient records and chart access.
Privacy + File Security
- Files are now delivered through a controlled download flow for signed-in authorized users instead of simple public file links.
- Portal access continues to rely on role-based permissions and patient-to-user linking.
- Privacy and security features support regulated workflows, but legal compliance also depends on hosting, access management, retention policies, agreements, and organizational procedures.
Governance + Domains
- cliniciancompanion.app is the secure application portal for patients and approved clinicians.
- cliniciancompanion.us provides public-facing information, standards, and governance context.
- cliniciancompanion.tools supports the broader tools, workflows, and ecosystem around the platform.
Governance + Network
Clinician Companion spans three linked domains with distinct roles for restricted app access, public standards, and supporting tools. Privacy and security features are designed to support regulated workflows, including HIPAA and GDPR-oriented use, but formal compliance also depends on operational and hosting controls beyond plugin code alone.
